"Styled after" only if you use imagination, they are nothing like A7's. To put it another way, outside of material, horn throat, flare rate, and cabinet size, they are just like A7's.
The seller originally called them "copies' after a conversation he changed it to "style'.
"Would you be copasetic with "style" rather than "copies" ? I'd have no issue with changing the title.

Actually the eBay ones pre-date either by a couple years. As I have mentioned, there were literally HUNDREDS of small manufacturers in the 70's. Most did not survive Reaganomics.
First black/white cosmetics I saw was a fellow from Oregon building Shearer horns...we masochists of the time toured them. He did the outside in black epoxy and the inside of the horn in white tolex. My touring ones were basic black.

I agree--other than the fact that they use a bass horn design, they are really different than A7's--different size, shape, port size, etc. etc. etc. That's why in my first post of this thread, I questioned (question marked) his statement "Styled after A7 cabs?" Interesting that they caught your eyes as well and that you already conversed with him as he originally had the gall to call them A7 copies!

He mentions DB Sound, such an original name should be easy to trace.

The big, white Sunn horns i've had were vinyl/tolex covered plywood.
Odd thing is, i feel like i've seen these before. Obviously, my adventurous youth, and marital stress may have claimed a few brain cells that would come in handy at these moments.
